Position Overview

Riverside Research is seeking a full-time project engineer to support an Air Force customer in Dayton, OH.  The project engineer will work as part of a team identifying customer challenges, sourcing commercially available solutions, evaluating options, providing recommendations, and transitioning selected technologies to secure environments.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with customers to identify and curate challenges impeding mission success
  • Source commercially available solutions to mitigate customer problems
  • Evaluate various options; provide recommendations on best fit
  • Transition select technologies to secure environments
  • Prepare white papers, briefings and present findings

Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor�s degree, 3 years with a Master�s degree, a PhD without experience, or equivalent work experience is typically required for an employee at this level.

 

  • Secret clearance with ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance with SCI adjudication
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, computer, mechanical, aerospace, or software engineering
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, responsible team player able to work independently with minimal daily direction
  • Demonstrated effective/efficient written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work and interact with technically and organizationally diverse personnel

 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Pursuing a graduate degree in electrical, computer, mechanical, aerospace, software engineering, or engineering management
  • Experience interacting with Air Force organizations

Global Comp

$70,000 - $130,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
