Position Overview

Riverside Research is seeking a Personnel Security Administrative Specialist to advise, assist and support the United States Space Force at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH. This individual will support the personnel security clearance processes and procedures onsite at the National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC) with a primary focus of facilitating the clearance process for government personnel requiring access to classified information. 

Responsibilities

  • Advise, assist, and support government security officials on policies, processes, and procedures of personnel security 
  • Assist and support the security clearance processes and procedures, ensuring the protection of sensitive information and national security interests.  
  • Initiate the clearance process for new government hires, ensuring that only individuals with appropriate clearance levels access sensitive information. 
  • Manage Continuous Evaluation which involves processing Incident Reports through Higher Headquarters (HHQ) or the Department of Defense (DOD) Central Adjudication Service (CAS), as well as handling personnel self-reporting. 
  • Coordinate induction, in-processing, and out-processing procedures with the National Air and Space Intelligence Center Special Security Officer (SSO) to facilitate access to SCI and badge issuance. 
  • Process Visit Access Requests for official government travel, ensuring that individuals have the necessary permissions to access restricted areas and information during their visits. 
  • Provide guidance to government security representatives on regulations, policies, and the establishment of local policies, ensuring all activities within the NSIC adhere to relevant regulations and best practices. 
  • Develop a collaborative relationship with the customer and other mission partners 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

Required

  • Active TS clearance with SCI adjudication
  • Associate's degree with 2 years, experience or 4 years' experience

Desired

  • Experiece providing support to personnel security activities such as visit requests, incident reports, etc...
  • Experience as a special security officer or unit security representative

Global Comp

$48,000 - $60,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
