Position Overview

Riverside Research is seeking a Junior Modeling and Simulation Analyst to perform analysis work utilizing agent-based Modeling and Simulation (M&S) tool suites applied to a wide range of military operations. This position is located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio,

 

This work will be as part of an integrated analytical team. The primary focus is on development of innovative concepts which can be applied to the analysis of complex military operations spanning multiple domains using all available mathematical tools as required.  Responsibilities will include detailed planning and scheduling of such innovative analytical processes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis with one or more community M&S tools
  • Conduct mission-level analysis using modeling environments/platforms
  • Develop operational scenarios using the community M&S tools
  • Analyze actual operational activities of military forces across diverse domains- cyber, space, air, ground, and sea
  • Plan and schedule analytical process development phases
  • Exercise initiative to determine both objectives and corresponding technical approaches
  • Solve complex problems through ingenuity and creativity
  • Develop collaborative relationship with Government customer and other mission partners
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or equivalent experience
  • MATLAB experience
  • Knowledge of military operations in the cyber, space, air, ground, and sea domains
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and use-friendly language
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail

Desired Qualifications:

  • Mission-level modeling and simulation experience
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following models: Suppressor, DIADS, AFSIM, NGTS

Global Comp

$70,000 - $110,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
