Position Overview

Riverside Research is seeking a full-time GEOINT Analyst  to assist National Geospatial- Intelligence Agency in  Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO. Candidates must be proficient in standard office software applications and capable of devising practical and sustainable solutions. Provides analysis on, but is not limited to, terrain mapping, route planning, and maritime geospatial activity

 

Position based in Springfield, Virginia supporting NGA or St. Louis, MO.

Responsibilities

  • Provides non-literal analysis to produce intelligence products, using remote sensing methodologies, on data from a range of airborne and space-based imaging sensors.
  • Applies customized algorithms, tools, and methodologies for exploitation of GEOINT imagery, focusing on new approaches and capabilities to operational missions.
  • Assist Imagery Scientists in developing novel analytical methodologies to be applied to challenging remote sensing problem sets.
  • Utilize analytic tools and techniques such as geographic information systems (GIS), data visualization and modeling, systems analysis, comparative analysis, and database development.
  • Supports GEOINT collection experiments and employs measures of effectiveness to assess remote sensing system capabilities. Understands the capabilities of GEOINT systems and sensors and their potential application to the intelligence mission.
  • Support designated Foreign Disclosure Representative in fulfillment of their responsibilities
  • Staff requests for release of Classified National Intelligence, Classified Military Information (CMI), and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) to support US government information/intelligence sharing requirements
  • Coordinate foreign visit requests, foreign disclosure training, review of technology, TTPs and operational/intelligence products
  • Collaborate with government individuals responsible for foreign disclosure, technology transfer, and export control
  • Operate knowledge management systems to assimilate and analyze data from varied sources, as directed by the government, to provide foreign disclosure assessments and impact statements

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience with Geospatial Analysis
  • Bachelor’s in business administration, accounting, finance, engineering, computer science, physics, math, history, or related fields. In lieu of a degree years of experience will be required.
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Knowledge of foreign disclosure and release processes
  • Experience with GEOINT systems, data and collaboration environments
  • Basic Understanding or core GEOINT mission background in one or more of: Source Collection, Source Foundation, and Analysis.
  • Experience finding gaps and providing recommendations for solutions to meet user needs.
  • Experience with International Affairs strategy, mission, policy and procedures
  • Experience working with Disclosure & Release office on data/content release
  • Understanding of maps, geography and imagery phenomenology
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Trained in IC Security Policies and DOD Derivative Classification Marking Standards
  • Experience with producing 3D models and visualizations of buildings, terrain, or equipment by utilizing all forms of imagery, including NTM, commercial, airborne, Google Sketch-Up software, or RealSite

Global Comp

$75,000- $100,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
