Position Overview

Riverside Research is seeking a Senior Contracts/Procurement Director for our Beavercreek, Ohio or Fairfax, VA Office. The candidate will be responsible for cradle-to-grave experience with Federal Contracts, Grants, Commercial Products, Subcontracts and Procurement related activities. The ideal candidate should have management, proposal cost volume and day-to-day experience in the full range of contracts and requires independent judgment and identification, analysis and resolution of significant issues. The candidate should have knowledge of the ever changing and developing Government Contracting environment. Candidate will report directly to the CFO and will supervise direct reports.

 

Responsibilities

Contract/Procurement Management


• Experience in all areas and phases of Government Contracts; Teaming and Non-Disclosure Agreements, Proposal Preparation, Cost Volumes, Pricing, Negotiations with Customers and Close-outs
• Experience in building and leading a 10 person Contracts/Procurement Team in multiple locations
• In-depth understanding of FAR, DFARs and CMMC requirements
• Experience with Commercial Products and Reseller agreements, to include FAR Part 12/13
• Proven skills in risk identification and mitigation
• Experience/Familiarity with AFRL contracting processes
• Strong understanding of DCMA compliance requirements


Skills/Experience


• 15-20+ years of progressive experience
• Procurement Integrity, Ethics
• Direct experience in Contract Procurement Systems Review (CPSR)
• Experience leading policy and procedure development, simplifying requirements
• Strong business acumen with the ability to clearly recognize risk elements in business transactions
• Ability to lead, train and motivate program and department personnel in contract requirements and concepts

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree minimum, MBA a plus
• Must be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI Clearance
• Knowledge of and experience with FAR, DFARS, other agency supplements
• Commercial Products and applicable U.S. laws and regulations
• Strong interpersonal/communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in Microsoft Office Products
• Experience in Deltek/Costpoint for Contracts, Procurement and reporting

 

Global Comp

$130,000 - $200,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
