Position Overview

Leads contractor-vendor efforts in integration, test, deployment, and sustainment of advanced technical capabilities. Evaluates contractor-vendor plans for system regression testing as well as acceptance testing for new capabilities. Assists government program manager in authoring statements of work, performance of work statements, bills of material, and other necessary contract documents and performs detailed technical evaluations of vendor proposals. Interfaces with program liaison officers to assess fielded system performance and assist the government program manager in directing software sustainment activities. Advises the government program manager on vendor progress toward technical and schedule goal completion.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Support selected hardware and software development and lab integration
  •  Evaluate contractor operational system performance reports
  • Oversee regression and acceptance testing of the operational system and advise the government Program Manager on verification and acceptance of delivered product
  • Evaluate contractor technical proposals, particularly for logistics, sustainment, and test and evaluation activities
  • Develop objectives and coordinate support to live test and evaluation or exercise events
  • Travel, as required to attend planning meetings, support installation and maintenance activities, and other activities as directed by the government Program Manager
  • Solves problems independently and takes initiative without constant oversight

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, 3 years with a master’s degree, a PhD without experience, or equivalent work experience is typically required for an employee at this level
  • Top Secret clearance with SCI access
  • Recent (within last five years) experience with operational intelligence systems
  • Small-team leadership experience
  • Experience with performance verification activities such as operational test and evaluation (OT&E)

Desired Qualifications

  • Recent (within last five years) experience in intelligence activities supporting a CCMD (e.g. INDOPACOM or EUCOM)

Global Comp

$113,400-$160,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
